antisocial behaviour

Are you having problems with your neighbour?

If you are having problems with your neighbour, the first thing you should do is talk to them.

Very often, when people live close together, they may not realise they are disturbing others. The first thing you can do is to explain to them, politely, that they are causing you a problem.

If this does not work, the next step is for you to contact us. Your housing or leasehold services officer will discuss the issue with you and together you will decide what to do.

We have recently reviewed and updated our policies and procedures. We have consulted with residents, staff and our partners on these documents so that we improve the way in which we handle cases and explain what we can do to help. Click on the links on the right for a copy of each document.

Surveillance

We have recently bought some surveillance equipment to help us investigate serious cases of antisocial behaviour. The equipment includes sound recording boxes and overt and covert cameras.

We have written a policy and procedure for the use of this equipment to ensure that we comply with Data Protection and Human Rights legislation. Click on the links on the right to read or download both the policy and the procedure on surveillance.
