Nuisance neighbours should stay SHAARP eyed
Together - Tackling anti-social behaviour A new response team has been set up to assist local residents in their fight against nuisance neighbours and antisocial behaviour .

Twynham Housing Association has teamed up with other social landlords on the south coast to offer professional help to residents enduring serious incidents of antisocial behaviour.

The Southern Housing Associations Antisocial Behaviour Response Team (SHAARP) formed recently, between five housing professionals and solicitors, to offer professional help from 24-hour witness support to the rapid issue of ASBOs in East Dorset.

Twynham Operations Manager Nicole Queen said: “By pooling our resources, we are able to step up activity against the most serious nuisance neighbours to bring them into line. Twynham is committed to reducing antisocial behaviour from tenants, and this gives us an extra tool in that battle.”

By sharing expertise with our other housing partners, SHAARP will also be able to help gather evidence for racist incidents, drug dealing, and violence in the home.

The Southampton-based SHAARP is jointly funded by 11 housing associations, who can call upon the team at short notice to help with complex cases.
